The 9th edition of the Mycotoxin Days will be organised in Marseille on 22 and 23 September 2022 by the Biosciences laboratory (Marseille Institute of Molecular Sciences), the Mediterranean Institute of Biodiversity and Ecology and the Fungal Biodiversity and Biotechnology laboratory. In addition to the health risk linked to mycotoxin exposure, JM2022 will also address the socio-economic aspects linked to this exposure as well as the biotechnological interest for fungi as producers of therapeutic agents.

The following topics will be addressed:

• • Socio-economic, health, legislative and remediation aspects of mycotoxins

• • Biosynthetic and transfer pathways of mycotoxins, regulations

• • Detection, identification and toxicity of mycotoxins

• • Therapeutic use of fungal secondary metabolites
